Air‑Cooled Cooler Operation Manual

The air‑cooled coolers manufactured by Weifang Liansheng Electromechanical Co., Ltd. are made of aluminum alloy featuring light weight, excellent shock resistance and high heat‑exchange efficiency. Structurally, heat‑dissipating tubes are assembled with fins to maximize heat‑dissipation area and accelerate heat transfer.

Driven by fans, air is used as the cooling medium to carry away heat forcibly. It delivers low‑cost and high‑efficiency cooling performance while meeting energy‑saving and environmental‑protection requirements, making it one of the most widely used coolers on the market.

Advantages

  • 1.Eco‑friendly, energy‑saving, simple maintenance and low operating cost.

  • 2.Compact structure, large heat‑dissipation area and high heat‑exchange efficiency.

  • 3.Long service life, high working pressure. Suitable for system return‑oil cooling, drain‑oil cooling and independent circuit cooling.

  • 4.Simple operation, convenient installation and low failure rate.

  • 5.High safety. In case of cooler rupture, it will not cause water‑oil mixing like water‑cooled coolers, which may lead to fatal damage to hydraulic (lubrication) systems.

  • 6.Applicable fluid temperature: 10℃~180℃; Ambient operating temperature: -40℃~130℃.

Cooler Installation

  • 1.The cooler shall be installed in positions free from vibration and impact, with smooth air intake and exhaust passages, and fastened reliably.

  • 2.Electrical wiring shall be completed by professional electricians only.

  • 3.The surface of the cooler may reach high temperature. Adequate protective measures shall be taken, or the unit shall be placed out of easy reach.

  • 4.When connecting inlet and outlet fittings, fasten the external hexagon (square) positioning flats of oil ports with a spanner before tightening fittings. Otherwise, cooler damage, deformation and oil leakage may occur.

  • 5.The oil inlet and outlet ports of the cooler are interchangeable. However, necessary measures must be taken to ensure the pressure on the cooler core shall not exceed 2 MPa.

  • 6.When the cooler is applied to fixed‑displacement pump circuits, pulse pressure will be generated during system operation. A 0.5 MPa bypass check valve must be installed on the oil inlet pipe.

  • 7.If the oil outlet pipe of the cooler bypass valve is directly connected to the return pipeline, the cross‑sectional area of the return pipe shall be at least 1.5 times that of the inlet pipe. (It is recommended to route the bypass‑valve outlet pipe directly back to the oil tank or adopt an independent circulating cooling circuit.

Maintenance Tip: Clean dust with high‑pressure compressed air once every week.
